Clean Truck Check
CARB-required emissions testing for semis and heavy-duty diesel trucks, right here in Colton.
What is Clean Truck Check?
Clean Truck Check is the California Air Resources Board’s program that keeps heavy-duty trucks running clean. It requires periodic emissions testing for most diesel and alternative-fuel vehicles over 14,000 lbs GVWR that operate in California.
It’s separate from a regular smog check. We handle both, under one roof.
- Semis, tractors and big rigs

Is Clean Truck Check the same as a smog check?
No. A regular smog check is BAR's program for cars and light trucks. Clean Truck Check is CARB's separate program for heavy-duty vehicles over 14,000 lbs GVWR. We do both.
Do out-of-state trucks need Clean Truck Check?
Heavy-duty vehicles operating in California, including trucks registered out of state, fall under the program. Call us with your truck's details and we'll tell you what you need.
